The Simple Woman's Daybook~January 12

FOR TODAY January 12...
Outside my window...snow and more snow!
I am thinking...I am glad I have the Lord in my life.
I am thankful for...my family and friends.
From the learning rooms...I am learning to trust God in everything.
From the kitchen...leftovers!
I am wearing...jeans, brown long sleeved shirt, brown socks, blue moccasin slippers
I am creating...nothing that I can think of.
I am going...to get a mammogram this afternoon.
I am reading...The War is Over and my Bible.
I am hoping...things get better for all of my kids...soon.
I am hearing...the tv in the other room.
Around the house...need to do some cleaning and laundry today.
One of my favorite things...going shopping. lol
A few plans for the rest of the week: bible study on Wednesday, make some overdue phone calls to far away friends, try again to finish cleaning attic.

FOR TODAY... Monday, January 5
Outside my window...is sunshine, blue skies and cold temps.
I am thinking...that I am glad I have all of the Christmas decorations put away.
I am thankful for...my husband Dan. He so loving, giving and hard working.
From the kitchen...bean soup and cornbread.
I am wearing...jeans, purple long sleeved shirt, socks and my moccasin slippers.
I am creating...this blog to focus on the simple things in my life.
I am going...to sit by the fireplace in a bit.
I am reading...The War Is Over by Andrew Wommack
I am hoping...we can make a trip to Florida in the near future.
I am hearing...the TV, Food Network is on.
Around the house...Thomas Kincaid Winter Village, Boyd's Bears, lots of scented candles.
One of my favorite things...spending time with my husband, Dan. We love to spend time together and look forward to when he can retire.
A few plans for the rest of the week: visiting my aunt who just had surgery, finish cleaning the attic, bible study on Wednesday morning.
